Youth Scholarships
The ASHA Foundation scholarships are available to ant member of the
American Saddlebred Horse Association
age 21 and under, at grade 11 or
higher. Scholarships will be awarded to high school graduates on
the basis of submitted evidence of academic success, financial need,
extracurricular activities, involvement with American Saddlebred horses and
personal references. Applications must be received by
April 30th
of the year the applicant wishes to receive the scholarship. The
scholarship money is given directly to the college, university or trade
school for post-secondary education expenses. An individual will be
awarded a scholarship only once. Applications may be resubmitted
annually; applications are not held for review in subsequent years.
